In 2026, Palagi reaches a remarkable milestone: 70 years of history as “builders of light.”
A journey that began in 1956 and has always been guided by a deep-rooted passion for the sea.

Palagi’s story is firmly anchored in Viareggio, at the heart of the Tuscan coastal district, where the company grew alongside local shipyards, learning the time-honoured skills of master shipwrights and developing in close symbiosis with the maritime world.

This heritage of excellence has allowed Palagi to evolve in step with the yachting industry itself, actively contributing to the global recognition of Italian excellence in superyacht construction and refit. With over thirty years of collaboration with leading industry players, Palagi has successfully embraced internationalisation, earning the trust of shipyards, architects and lighting designers worldwide through continuous dialogue with international partners.

Palagi’s identity is defined by constant evolution, where long-standing craftsmanship meets an innate dedication to innovation. The company continually invests in cutting-edge technologies, supported by an in-house Research & Development department and a mechanical workshop equipped with 5-axis machinery and advanced LED quality control systems.

Design at Palagi is never an end in itself. Each lighting solution is conceived to enhance and reveal the beauty of onboard spaces, transforming them into welcoming living environments while at sea. Custom design lies at the very core of daily operations: every luminaire — from courtesy lights to technical projectors — is meticulously developed to balance refined aesthetics with maximum resistance to marine and atmospheric conditions.

Looking ahead to the our new products and collection, Palagi continues to invest in young creative talent and advanced technical solutions that set new standards for comfort and safety on board.

A clear statement of the company’s enduring belief that light is a natural part of every transformation and every emotion at sea.

This is our way, since 1956.
